Here is a region 16 HS All-Region Team:

PG Billy Freeman: Dayton- 6-0 11.3ppg, 4.2apg, 1.7stpg: This PG is the classic assist specialist and a very solid defender. He spent most his time feeding the ball down low to Center Rodolfo Feliciano. He also help lead his team to a 24-2 record so far in his SR season.

SG Andres Martin: Cincinnati- 6-4 22.8ppg, 2.4stpg, 1.5apg: Martin has shown throughout the year that he is both one of the Regions best scorers and one of the best defensive lockdown guys. His presence on the court in Cinci carried his team to a winning record. This guy will be premier 2 guard at the next level.

SF D.J. Wilde: Peoria- 6-9 20.2ppg, 5.7rpg, 1.3stpg: The region was short on SF this year, but in a weak class Wilde stood out for his scoring. He was the number one option on his HS team and at 6-9 created some matchup problems at the SF spot. While his ball-handling skills are much questioned, he has the ability to hold his own when it comes to defense and will be able to score a few points at the next level.

PF Larry Riddles: Pontiac- 6-11 15.8ppg, 9rpg, 2.3 blpg, 1.4 apg: A standout post player on the region's number one team. The combination of his abilities to rebound and block shots was unmatched in this region. He'll be a very nice presence in the low block and has a chance to be a great all-around player at the next level who can handle the ball, score, rebound, and play solid D.

C Rodolfo Feliciano: Dayton- 6-11 22.4ppg, 9.6rpg, 1.8blpg: Probably Region 6's best player, he dominated the low block and provided most of the scoring on Dayton's 24-2 team. The presence he provides in rebounding and scoring will show up at the next level. He'll one day be one of the top low block players in this league.

Other Players to Watch:

PG Larry Graves: Pontiac- 6-5 15.3ppg, 2.8apg, 1.1stpg: A team doesn't go 25-1 without strong PG play and Graves provided that. His all-around play was very solid and although he was never counted on to carry the load of the teams offense, he has a chance to be a very effective offensive player at the next level.

PG Vernon Baker: Youngstown- 6-2 18ppg, 3apg, 1.4stpg: Baker is a very solid point guard who does everything well. He has the ability to be a solid all-around PG who will score, dish it out, and play a little defense.
