A long-term doormat in C16 North, Peoria enjoyed a brief period of muted success with 36bombs leading the squad to a series of PTT bids. They peaked in season 22, going 14-10 while shooting 51.8%, led by senior SF Elden Sorrell (18.3ppg, 32 blocks).

Coach balla took over for Peoria in season 36 and has done a tremendous job turning that program around. After bringing in four of his own recruiting classes, he looks to finally be on his way to making Peoria a NTT caliber team and making his mark on conference 16. A difficult conference schedule has kept them from making the Big Dance so far; an experienced and versatile lineup could make this difference in season 42.
