Quincy Day was born in a small town outside of Knoxville named Farragut. Quincy’s parents were teachers at Farragut Elementary and made sure that Quincy excelled in the classroom (3.9 GPA and 67 Exam). At age 12 Quincy began showing promise on the basketball court also and received a scholarship to play basketball at Christian Academy of Knoxville for High School.

While playing for the Warriors of Christian Academy of Knoxville, Quincy played PG and lead the team in scoring with > 25 ppg in his Senior year. Coach Warak, Casper University, took an interest in Quincy but was not looking for a PG/SG with P+ defense. However, coach Warak saw potential in the lanky 6’5” SR (G scouted E-,P+,G+,G-,G+). At the recruiting reveal, Casper had 20 rpe on Quincy but another team had him to 32rpe. Coach Warak took a chance and was able to overtake the other team and got a verbal commitment from Quincy by week 5.

Quincy entered Casper E,F,G,G,E,G and was able to find a home at SG on a team that was rebuilding after a few seasons of less than spectacular recruiting classes. The class of S60 was rated 4/1 and also included Steven Mcnamee, from Culver City, and Christopher Bickford, from Anaheim. This class lead Casper to back to back C25 regular season championships and C25 tournament championships their JR and SR years.

Quincy was arguably the best player that Casper has recruited…he lead the team in scoring for 4 seasons, never averaging less than 22.3ppg. Although Quincy was a true SG, he was asked to platoon between SG and SF during his SO and JR seasons, depending on the competition. When Quincy was a SR at Casper DickieV noticed his winning desire and his sweet shot and fittingly named him Quincy “All” Day! Quincy went on to average 29.3ppg in his SR year while leading the Hania to a 23-1 record and NTT championship…arguably one of the best scoring performances in NTT Championship Final Game history with 39pts on 17-24 shooting! The next day Quincy “All” Day did not have to wait All Day at the SimBA Draft…he was drafted #1 overall!
