Championship Round
Congrats to all pool winners! It turned out that all 3 top seeds in the pools ended up winning. The Monday matchup will be Albuquerque vs Idaho Falls. Will either Oldtimer or homewrecke send a scrimmage to the other coach? After the game is completed on Monday, you can post the box score in this thread, PM it to me, or one of you could do a game write up since you have access to the PBP.
The winner of the Albuquerque/Idaho Falls matchup will then scrimmage Peoria on Wednesday for the GAMIT championship!

Most Outstanding Freshman
John Wendt (Burbank)
John was barely Second Team All-Tournament to Noah Porter and actually led the tournament field in scoring at 27 ppg. At times he was the only offense for Burbank and he helped carry the Blue Storm to 2 straight wins to end GAMIT.
Most Outstanding Player
Noah Porter (Idaho Falls)
Porter had an outstanding tournament. Although he didn't lead the tournament field in scoring, he did shoot a scorching 61.8% from the field and 46.4% from behind the arc. He was not really slowed down by any team. In fact, he beat Wendt in a head to head matchup, scoring 28 points to Wendt's 26. Overall, Porter was the most explosive player in this season's tournament, and he is well deserving of this award.
6th Man Award
Frank Thompson (Des Moines) - 15 mpg, 11.2 ppg, 2.0 rpg, 54.7% FG
Frank was instant offense off the deep Lickliter bench and provided a spark in almost every game he played. In only 15 minutes per game, he averaged over 11 points.
