Most Outstanding Freshman
Terrell Hunter (Wichita)
Terrell was the highest scoring freshman in the GAMIT field at over 18 ppg. He also shot good percentages from all over the place. This choice wasn't easy, as there were more than a few talented freshmen, but Terrell was the best of the best in my opinion.
Most Outstanding Player
Louie Jackson (Montgomery)
This guy lit up the scoreboard night after night. He was the GAMIT leading scorer by a long ways at over 29 ppg. That was almost 5 more points per game than the next highest scorer in this tournament. Couple that with the ridiculous shooting breakdown of 57.4/53.8/86.7 and you have yourself a GAMIT MOP.
6th Man Award
John Wendt (Burbank)
While he didn't serve as a 6th man in every game, he still only average around 21 mpg, which is good enough for me to give him the 6th Man Award. John was an outstanding supersub for Burbank. It's kind of strange giving a team notorious for winning the Worst Bench Award the 6th Man Award!
