Most Outstanding Freshman

Brad Hurst (Philadelphia)

Brad had a very nice debut in GAMIT, leading all freshmen in scoring at 21 ppg and getting it done on the defensive end averaging 1.7 stlpg. While Philly struggled a bit as a team, the future definitely looks bright with Hurst in their lineup for the next three seasons.

Most Outstanding Player

Denver Trapp (Wichita)

Mr. Trapp followed up his Most Outstanding Freshman award from last season with the GAMIT MOP award, and he certainly deserves it. While there were plenty of very good candidates for this award, Denver stood above the rest in my opinion. He's a guy that not only can fill it up, but he takes care of the ball and plays good defense. Truly a triple threat.

6th Man Award

Stuart Friedman (Reno)

Few players provided a spark off the bench like Stuard Friedman did for Reno. This sophomore was always a scoring threat when he was in the game and he definitely made the most of his minutes.
